Spring is finally sprung in Montreal – hopefully for real this time – and I’ve been doing the usual seasonal overhaul of scissoring all my jeans into cutoffs and recklessly cutting my own hair. I also caught a super rad show on the weekend w/ TO pals Get Out, Einar Jullum, and Loosestrife: all totally killer and worthy of your ears if you are searching for some new summery jams. If you have fave local summertime tunes from your city, send ’em my way – I’m on the hunt..
till next week,

For those of you who tuned in to this week’s New Shit and for those of you who didn’t, here are all the shows and things we talked about.
==========Local math popsters Each Other are rocking a set with Sheer Agony at the apparently brand new Drones Club on
WEDNESDAY. Head over early for pupusas, stay late for bouncy guitar jams and good vibes.
Arbutus’ resident electronic crooner Majical Cloudz plays Le Belmont alongside cathedral DnB act D’Eon. Plus a dj set from the excellent Montreal composer producer CFCF.
The dual album launch of the very dreamy Arbutus duo Blue Hawaii (featuring BRAIDS lead singer Raf) and the radiantly electronic grooves of Montreal’s Doldrums at underground loft space The Plant.
Check the archives for more New Shit, and tune in every Monday from 3-5pm to hear it live!
