Local artist Charlie Twitch aka ¡FLIST! came in for a live performance on The Montreal Sessions–a show that provides a platform for a different community group, label, or artist to curate a month of programming. In January, local booking collective Loose-Fit hosted, and invited ¡FLIST! in for their final show.
Music that is as much Nick Cave as it is Thomas Dolby, what really sets ¡FLIST! apart is the incredibly emphatic live performance, the essence of which being hinted at in Twitch’s new video for bug.

For the month of February, we are thrilled to be welcoming one of Montreal’s most unique and established record labels into the studio to curate the Montreal Sessions. Stomp Records began in 1994, determined to build up a scene for ska lovers and players. With over 30 bands and numerous releases to its name, Stomp is celebrating 19 years of independent success and solid street cred. In February they’re putting their boots down on Montreal Sessions each Tuesday between 3 – 5pm. Spinning everything from the roots of ska to contemporary local punk, listeners are in for a bit of skanking education with a different band from the label hosting each week.
